We ate our swiss chard tonight, and it was yummy! I (mostly) followed a recipe provided by the farm which allowed us to use even the stalks. Looking forward to trying either the collards or the kale tomorrow!

First Week!
Here are pictures of our first week of produce from Big Moon Farm
community supported agriculture share! We got swiss chard, collards, kale, mixed lettuce, dill, arugula, green onions and sweet onions. We also got 12 farm fresh eggs (not pictured). All was split with our friends the Connors. Upon hearing that we're splitting our share, John and Catherine Oxner gave us another bag of lettuce and another bag of arugula. Score! John also told me to watch out for the culled vegetables each week - those veggies not 'pretty' enough for our paid baskets, but still yummy! Hopefully this will allow us to have almost full shares each week despite the split.
