It has been so long....

So admittedly, as usual, it has been quite some time since my last update. This spring was so busy in the Miller household - there were birthdays, my sister-in-law's wedding, and quite a few road trips. Then along came the summer. Typically hot and humid in South Carolina, this summer proved to be brutal with a string of temps/heat indices above 100. Yuck! We also were able to take a trip north to visit my family the first week of July! The best part of that trip? Being able to tell my family in person that we're pregnant!
That's right, Trip and I are happy to announce that we are expecting a child in February. So far everything has been smooth sailing, for which we've felt very blessed. I've had only mild symptoms, and most were around our week of travel in early July. Barely any morning sickness, and I've been able to eat almost whatever I want (hey! I want sushi, but that's against doctor's orders...). So again, feeling blessed. Now it is on to the projects that need to be taken care of in order to make room for the little one :-) I plan to use this blog as a way to keep family and friends updated. Not sure how often I post, hopefully I will be better than in the past (haven't I read that before somewhere.....?).

So to start, here are the basic stats.
As of today I am 13 weeks and 6 days along
Our NT scan was great
No major symptoms - some vomiting when I eat too fast, increased fatigue per usual
Next major appointment is early October for our anatomy scan...I tell you this because there may/may not be an update before then :-P
