Surprise Package!

Ok so you really don't need to see my hair- I promise! Pictures were taken today at about 10PM, and I looked like the bad end of a long weekend. :-) This is the 28 week bump. I look huge!! I'll be curious to see how long this growth spurt lasts. If it is all the way through February I am not sure how much moving around is going to be possible...
These other pictures are from the valance that we received in the mail yesterday. It was quite a surprise, and I'm not sure who sent it! I have a sneaking suspicion that the bedding set might arrive soon. I could be wrong, but that is my sense. Anyway - here is the valance over the window. I didn't think just one would do the trick, but it does!
I
And here I am trying to figure out what color to paint the walls. This is the valance, paint chips and changing table to give an idea of colors. We can't use any of the darkest colors due to the small size of the nursery but are looking at the lighter beige shades.

If any of these strikes to you - let me know! I understand the pictures are pretty bad. I turned the flash off, but it was getting dusk so the color isn't that great.

Baby Tiggerette continues to do a lot of moving in there, which has really picked up over the last week. Sometimes I have found it pretty distracting at work - yet another place where these last three months will become interesting! I have started talking more openly with my clients about the transition to another case manager while I am out, which has been interesting. Some are definitely wary of any new clinician, while others clearly think I'm lying when I tell them my expectation is to return after maternity leave. I am just glad hat we have another clinician starting January 3rd to actually make any of this good transition possible!

The heartburn continues to come and go. What was horrible last week, has become an occasional mild annoyance this week. On the flip side, my ribs are really starting to take a beating. Mostly my right side. I have the feeling that if I were on my feet more at work she'd probably move down a bit; so I try to get up and stretch in between clients, which helps. Sleep still hasn't been too horrible. Oftentimes I'm still getting a good 5-6 hour stretch before the initial wake up. Apparently this is just another example of the blessed pregnancy I've been having so far! Kind of have this feeling that I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. In fact, I thought perhaps I wasn't going to pass my glucola test this week for that exact reason. However, I don't have gestational diabetes!! Thinking of being on a diabetic diet for Christmas, my birthday and baby showers wasn't very pleasant. So I am THRILLED to be GD free :-) But I do recognize that I'm now in the stage of getting more and more uncomfortable while losing more and more regular functioning/movement. Trip asked the other day if I was ready to not be pregnant yet (he's already admitted he's ready for me to not be pregnant). In all honesty, I'm not! Not that I want it to go on forever, but I don't feel anything has been that bad yet, and we are NOT ready for her to be here yet.
Okay, I can tell I'm rambling which means it is time for bed. Feel like I have forgot something, but it will either come to me or not..... Have a great night everyone!
