Picture from 11/13/11

Just a quick update with this week's picture. Trip says the shirt hides the belly. Lots of people have said that I'm pretty small. Truthfully I'm thinking that I'm more long. I'm getting precariously close to the dreaded rib kicking already....oh well. Perhaps Baby Tigger won't be the giant baby we're expecting (8+ lbs) based on family history...hmm.

Let's see; we have ordered pretty much our entire stash of diapers from the Cotton Babies seconds sale. So instead of paying $17.95 per diaper, I paid under $10 each with the use of coupons. The final cost will be a bit more since these dipes don't come with inserts - but even so they will be a significant savings overall. If this paragraph totally confuses you ("$18 for ONE diaper??") let me explain that we have chosen to cloth diaper. In order to make it easier on ourselves and our daycare providers, we are using BumGenius 4.0 pocket diapers. Basically these diapers are designed to adjust from 10lbs to 35lbs based on a series of snaps, and have a stuffable inner pocket allowing for absorption adjustment based on the inserts you use. Once I get the inserts, and our babe reaches 10lbs, we will be SET with diapers. Yes, I recognize there will be adjustments along the way requiring purchase of different inserts to address absorbancy, especially over night, but this is still going to be WAY cheaper than disposables. I am super excited to get the rest of my stash in the mail!! Now I'm looking at getting newborn dipes that are compatible with the umbilical cord stump. These will likely be used since no baby is in them for very long; again we can use with any future children!

Guess that is it for now. Nothing else really going on :-) Still feeling good, sleeping well etc. And life at work should be getting less stressful soon - we just interviewed for another clinician!!
