Well, it's done! Trip and I are married =) June 28, 2008 was a glorious day with wonderful weather in Wellesley. Since then we have been working steadily to settle in to our routine and lives together in South Carolina. Currently I am working with the SC Department of Mental Health, and Trip works as the Director of Harbison State Forest. We have two large, rambunctious dogs who can get jealous in their attention seeking.Of course the house is still a struggle to keep clean. Cleaning and organization were never my strong suit, and now I'm responsible for the stuff for two people! But it's getting easier all the time.
Right now we're looking forward to the holidays and starting our own family traditions. Since we spent last Christmas in Albuquerque with my family, we'll be having turkey up north this year. Then we'll stay in SC for Christmas with his family. I am very much looking forward to meeting my newest nephew next month, and am trying to figure out when/how I can get back north in the spring to meet my first niece who's due in January.
